Fire broke out in low vegetation in the area of Profitis Ilias in the municipality of Pylaia – Hortiatis, Thessaloniki, on Monday afternoon.

42 firefighters, with a team of hikers, 14 vehicles, and volunteer firefighters, were mobilized to extinguish the fire, while 5 aircraft and 2 helicopters were making water drops from the air.
