Coldplay frontman Chris Martin made a humorous comment at the band’s first concert following the viral video in which a “kiss cam” exposed an affair during a previous show.

On Saturday, July 19, Martin jokingly warned the crowd that the “kiss cam” was about to start recording.
“We’d like to say hello to some of you in the audience,” he said in a video posted on X (formerly Twitter), and added:
“The way we’ll do that is by using our cameras to show you on the big screen. So, please, if you haven’t done your makeup, put some on now.”

During Coldplay’s concert in Boston on Wednesday night, the “kiss cam” caught Andy Byron, the married CEO of Astronomer, embracing Kristin Cabot, the company’s Head of Human Resources.
As soon as they realized they were being shown on the screen, the two quickly separated and tried to hide their faces.
The couple was soon identified on social media, and the clip showing them together has since amassed tens of millions of views.

Following the incident, Byron resigned from his CEO position at Astronomer, as confirmed in a company statement released on Saturday:

“As previously stated, Astronomer remains committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding. We expect our leadership to model behavior that reflects accountability and integrity, and recently, that standard was not upheld. Andy Byron has submitted his resignation, and the Board has accepted it. The Board will begin the search for a new CEO, while Co-founder and Chief Product Officer Pete DeJoy will continue to serve as interim CEO.”
