New royal arrivals appear to have been made in Greece in the past 24 hours, with Hola! Spain is reporting that King Felipe, Queen Letizia, and their daughters, Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofía, are in the country.
While it’s not clear where the Spanish royal family is staying, the magazine reckons it’s likely that they are staying at the villa in Kranidi owned by King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands.
The news of King Felipe and his family’s trip to Greece was first reported by mujerhoy.com, citing public data from the flights of Spain’s royal family.
Based on this data, it was confirmed that a private jet requested by the Spanish palace landed at 9:30 p.m. on the evening of August 7.
The same website also sided with the version of King Felipe and Queen Letitia being hosted by the Dutch blue bloods, writing that “they probably headed to a walled mansion to shelter from the paparazzi’s lenses.”
According to the controversial report, this year’s holiday may be shorter for the Spanish royal family, mainly due to the health condition of Queen Sofia’s sister Irene.
