Curfew extended until August 15 in areas of Halkidiki due to fire danger

Measures in force until 8 am on Friday 15 August

A new extension of the curfew for pedestrians and wheeled vehicles of all kinds for areas of the municipalities of Kassandra, Sithonia, Aristotle and Polygyros of Halkidiki, until the morning of August 15, decided the deputy head of Halkidiki, Katerina Zografou, due to a very high risk of forest fire.

In particular, until 8 am on Friday, August 15, traffic is prohibited in the following areas:

– in the Kassandra peninsula (“Koriforimini” (from Kassandrinos to Agia Paraskevi), “Arapis” and “Chalkovouni” Paliuri district),
