Giannoulis Larentzakis responded to the slap he took a few days ago from Giannis Antetokounmpo with a playful slap on the NBA star.

Specifically, after the game against Montenegro in Thessaloniki, Giannis had playfully “smacked” the Greek international, which caused a huge stir on social media.

A few days later, after the friendly against Latvia at OAKA, Larentzakis rushed over once the game was finished to give Giannis a friendly slap and show that the team spirit is excellent. Other National Team players joined in as well.

Right after, Larentzakis stated:

“We work every day on the style of play with Giannis Antetokounmpo, who creates all the open shots because every defense adapts to him.
The point is to be ready both mentally and physically. Giannis gives us a huge boost, he has a mismatch in every possession. It’s incredible to have him as a teammate, his talent is undeniable. He gives us confidence and it’s very important that he’s healthy and with us.”
