The body found in a private hotel pool in Mykonos belongs to a 25-year-old well-known Brazilian model, next to his friend who was rescued and initially hospitalized in a coma.

According to The Sun, Tiago Luís de Campos e Silva, 25, was found unconscious by hotel staff, and police have already launched an investigation into the cause of death.

Silva, originally from Jacareí in São Paulo, Brazil, was vacationing in Ornos, Mykonos, with 23-year-old adult film actor and content creator Ryan Silveira. Sources say the two young men were celebrating Silva’s 25th birthday when the tragedy occurred on Saturday, August 23.

The incident came to light when hotel cleaners entered the room after noticing water leaking from the balcony. They found the two Brazilians in the pool, unresponsive. Silva was pronounced dead on the scene by paramedics, while Silveira was rescued alive by a staff member. The 23-year-old was taken to the hospital in a comatose state but later regained consciousness.

The Brazilian Embassy in Athens confirmed Silva’s death and stated that it is providing support to his family.

Syringe and white powder sent for laboratory testing
During the on-site inspection, authorities found a used plastic syringe on the balcony and four small packets containing white powder of unknown composition inside the room, suspected to be a narcotic substance. The items were seized by the Mykonos Security Subdivision and will be sent for laboratory analysis.

Authorities have ordered an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death, and the competent Public Prosecutor of Syros has been notified. The preliminary investigation continues to clarify the circumstances of the incident.
