Tom Holland: The actor is unrecognizable in short film – He plays 9 different characters

The 29-year-old actor appears, among other roles, as a footballer and as an elderly man

Newsroom September 6 08:38

Tom Holland is nearly unrecognizable in the short film Never Stop Playing, where he takes on nine different roles. The 29-year-old actor appears as a footballer, an inventor, an elderly man, and even a toddler.

In the role of the elderly man, he waters a garden while wearing a white hat, glasses, and a cardigan. As an eccentric artist, he dons a colorful floral jacket. Several other characters follow in the two-minute video, which also features Holland’s twin brothers, Sam and Harry.

Speaking about the project, which was created in collaboration with LEGO, the actor explained that play has always been, for him, a timeless form of expression regardless of age, as well as an essential way of exploring and connecting with the world. That is why, whether on set or spending time with loved ones, he always tries to integrate play into his activities.

As he said:

“I hope this short film promotes the idea that play is a way of expressing who we are, no matter our age. For me, it has always been a key element in exploring the world and embracing the environment I find myself in. Whether I’m on set or simply spending time with my brother and friends, I try to bring play into everything I do.”
