Prince Harry paid a surprise visit to Kiev, a spokesman said.
The trip was made at the invitation of the Ukrainian government, with the Duke of Sussex heading to the Ukrainian capital to contribute to rehabilitation activities for soldiers seriously injured in the three-year war with Russia.
The visit comes just days after his meeting with the king, about which Harry said he is wonderful. The two were at Clarence House for a private tea last Wednesday – their first meeting in 19 months – that lasted just 54 minutes.
Father and son last met in February 2024, when Harry was rushed to Britain after the monarch’s cancer diagnosis was announced.
Harry and Meghan Markle have been living permanently in California since March 2020, when they stepped down from their official duties as senior members of the royal family.
