The Marine One helicopter carrying Donald Trump and his wife, First Lady Melania, landed at Windsor Castle around 2 p.m. Wednesday (local time).
The Prince and Princess of Wales, William and Kate, were the first members of the royal family to greet the Trump-Melania couple in the Walled Garden of the Castle at the start of their two-day official visit to the UK, and will accompany them to Victoria House, where they will meet King Charles and Queen Camilla.
It was reported that Camilla was unwell yesterday but, in the end, her attendance at all the events of the official Trumbo visit was confirmed yesterday by official royal sources.
Meanwhile, later in the day, Trump and his wife will privately visit the grave of Queen Elizabeth II to lay a wreath, before attending a special military ceremony on the castle’s East Lawn, as well as a flight over the castle by the Royal Air Force’s Red Arrows team and US F-35 military aircraft.
Finally, King Charles III will host a gala dinner for Donald and Melania Trump, delivering his speech at the start of the event.
