It is recalled that Mitsotakis mentioned in his recent interview that there is an intention to meet Erdogan during the UN General Assembly in New York.

Speaking about Greek-Turkish relations, the Prime Minister reassured the Greek public that he sees no risk of a “hot incident” in the Aegean, while emphasizing that this does not allow for complacency.

“There is a willingness on both sides to find time, and I believe that since both sides want to meet, even if briefly, we will be able to find the time to hold the meeting,” Mitsotakis stated.
