Iron Maiden are returning to Europe in 2026 to continue their 50th-anniversary “Run For Your Lives” world tour. Specifically, as announced, Bruce Dickinson, Dave Murray, Steve Harris, and the rest of the boys will return to OAKA in Athens for another major live show on May 23, 2026.
With a setlist featuring songs from all the most iconic albums of the first decades of their career, they present their most spectacular show to date.
Iron Maiden have announced the first dates of a very packed 2026 schedule, starting with a summer return to Europe to perform mainly at festivals, as well as in stadiums in countries and regions they did not visit in 2025. It will be a busy year, so there will be no Maiden concerts in 2027 after this tour.
Greece is, in fact, the first European country they will visit as part of this tour. On May 23, they will play at OAKA, followed by Sofia, Bucharest, Bratislava, Hanover, Amsterdam, Milan, Paris, Lyon, and Lisbon, according to the information released so far.
Bassist Steve Harris, a leading member of the band since 1976, says about the Iron Maiden tour:
“We all love the RUN FOR YOUR LIVES tour. The fans have been amazing, the setlist is perfect for the 50th anniversary, the show is probably our best yet, and ticket demand has been incredible, with almost every show sold out and over a million attendees in total. So we all thought we should play a few more shows in Europe before heading to other parts of the world later in the year.”
“Of course, Simon Dawson will be back with us on drums, and both he and the whole band would like to thank our fans for the wonderful reception they gave him in the first leg. We have always enjoyed playing at festivals, especially as it gives us the chance to perform to audiences that aren’t exclusively ours, and we love that challenge! So we decided to visit as many great metal festivals as possible during this period. Additionally, we will also play in stadiums in Greece, Romania, Slovakia, and Bulgaria, where we didn’t perform this year and where we always love playing in front of our passionate fans.”
