ALCO measured a 12.5-point lead for New Democracy (ND) in voting intention based on valid votes, according to the poll presented on Alpha TV’s main news bulletin. PASOK is in second place, up 0.8 points compared to the company’s June survey. Hellenic Solution shows larger gains of 1.4 points, clearly securing third place, as Course of Freedom loses 2.4 points. Gains are also recorded for SYRIZA and Voice of Reason.
ND loses one point in voting intention based on valid votes (as measured by ALCO), while the share of respondents who say they will vote to ensure government stability remains steady at 34%. At the same time, 36% say there is a party that represents them to a large extent, while 61% answer negatively.
According to the poll results, illegal immigration is currently the issue that most negatively concerns public opinion, with 71% describing the government’s policy as ineffective. Additionally, 54% do not believe that those responsible for the OPEKEPE scandal will be punished, despite the involvement of the European Public Prosecutor’s Office.
