The trial is expected to take place in a specially arranged courtroom before the third anniversary of the tragedy – Responses are awaited regarding relatives’ exhumation requests

Newsroom September 29 02:00

Today, the president of the Larissa Court of First Instance expressed her agreement with the main case file and indictment concerning the Tempi tragedy, in which 57 people lost their lives.

This clears the way for setting the trial date, which, according to reports, is expected to take place in a specially arranged courtroom at Gaïopolis in Larissa before the third anniversary of the tragedy.

At the same time, responses are awaited regarding the exhumation requests submitted by the relatives, as well as decisions on whether histological and toxicological examinations will be conducted.
