The competent prosecutor’s office in Larissa has decided to grant the full request of Panos Rouchi for the exhumation and toxicology tests on the body of his son, Dennis Rouchi, who was killed in the Tempi accident.
Panos Rouchi, who is on a hunger strike for the 22nd day at the Constitution, had requested the exhumation of his son, wanting answers about the circumstances of his death.
Initially, permission was granted to exhume the body and conduct DNA tests to identify the body, a decision that did not satisfy Mr. Ruchi, who continued his hunger strike. Now, the Larissa Prosecutor’s Office has decided to allow toxicology tests to be carried out on the body of Dennis Rouchi.
Judicial sources note that the decision does not mean that the inquest into the tragic Tempi accident will restart, with procedures to determine the date for the start of the trial continuing as normal.
