An explosion occurred on Tuesday night at a well-known nightclub on Michalakopoulou Street, in the Ilisia area of Athens.

Firefighters, police officers, and members of the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit (TEEM) rushed to the scene.

According to initial reports, authorities are investigating the possibility that the explosion was caused by an explosive device.

No injuries were reported as a result of the blast.

Vehicles parked outside the nightclub were damaged, according to sources.
