Konstantinos Argyros appeared on a Serbian TV show – He broke plates, sang, and danced with the hosts

“I don’t know how I realized she was ‘the one,’ I just had a feeling,” said the singer about his wife

Newsroom October 13 08:46

Konstantinos Argyros appeared on a late-night Serbian TV show, where he talked about his wife, Alexandra Nika, sang in Greek, and taught the host the Greek way of celebrating by showing her how to break plates live on air.

Impressed by his looks, the host began by teasing him about his personal life, humorously asking, “Why did you get married?” and adding, “Have you seen what you look like?” Argyros laughed at the compliment and spoke warmly about his wife.

“I got married recently. I have the best woman in the world and I feel very lucky,” said Konstantinos Argyros, publicly expressing his love and admiration for his wife. When asked about Alexandra Nika’s work, he replied: “She studied for two years in America and then returned to Greece. Now she’s with the family… with our child… She’s a mom. She’s so smart.”

The singer also revealed how they met: “We met at a party three years ago. I don’t know if she was a fan of mine — we just started talking about life and many things we had in common. I don’t know how I knew she was ‘the one,’ I just had a feeling.”

Finally, Konstantinos Argyros showed the host how to break plates on set and explained the meaning of the Greek word “kapsoura” (passionate love), before performing his song “Stin Athina Mou” (“In My Athens”). In return, the host taught him a traditional Serbian dance.
