Vildoza risks being expelled from Virtus Bologna after his arrest for assaulting paramedics

The Argentine guard of Virtus Bologna faces serious consequences after being arrested along with Milica Tasic on charges of assaulting medical personnel

Newsroom October 17 05:06

Vildoza’s future at Virtus Bologna is now in doubt following a serious incident involving the Argentine guard and his wife. Vildoza was arrested with Milica Tasic in Bologna, Italy, after attacking an ambulance crew early Thursday morning because the ambulance had blocked the road.

Although the former Panathinaikos and Olympiacos player was released and traveled with Virtus to France for tonight’s game against Villeurbanne, the case remains open and is expected to have serious consequences for his future with the club.

According to the reputable Italian newspaper La Repubblica, if the 30-year-old guard is found guilty, Virtus has the right to terminate his contract.
