Fight breaks out in B’ EPSA league: Player sent off after kicking and punching opponents

Violence erupted during a local league match when a player kicked an opponent and then responded with a punch, resulting in his dismissal

Newsroom November 4 07:50

Disturbing scenes and violent incidents overshadowed the match between Agios Thomas and Asteras Zografou in the B’ EPSA championship, casting a shadow over the football action.

Tensions escalated following a duel near the sideline. After a home team player was on the ground, an opponent reportedly kicked him, triggering an immediate reaction from the Agios Thomas players.

The situation worsened when an Agios Thomas player charged at the player who delivered the kick, who then responded by punching his opponent in the face.

As expected, a widespread brawl broke out between players from both teams. The main aggressor, who threw the punch, was shown a red card by the referee.
