The three brothers wanted for the Vorizia massacre surrendered (updated)

According to the same reports, a lawyer representing the three has already contacted the authorities

The three wanted men involved in the Vorizia massacre have surrendered to the authorities. The three brothers were in the Heraklion area, and their lawyer contacted the police, stating that her clients intend to surrender immediately. Warrants had already been issued against them, and following their surrender, they were arrested.

According to information from protothema.gr, police located a hotel where one of the three wanted men was reportedly hiding. The police also detained the hotel owners, a father and son. A few minutes after 6 p.m., the three brothers surrendered. They are now expected to be brought before the prosecutor to have the arrest warrants executed, after which criminal charges are expected to be filed against them.

The three individuals wanted in connection with the Vorizia carnage are reportedly prepared to surrender to the authorities. According to sources, the three brothers are currently in the Heraklion area, and their lawyer has contacted police, stating that her clients intend to surrender immediately. Warrants have already been issued against them.

Meanwhile, the village of 500 residents is guarded by 400 armored police officers. ELAS forces continue their search for the weapons used in last Saturday’s deadly incident.

A total of six people are believed to have been involved in the clash, which resulted in the deaths of a 39-year-old father of five and a 56-year-old nurse. The nurse had been attending her father’s memorial service and was killed by a stray bullet.

Among those involved are the 39-year-old, four brothers, and a cousin. Three of the brothers—aged 27, 29, and 19—are currently wanted. Two others—a brother and the family’s cousin—are receiving guarded medical treatment at PAGNI hospital.
