The three wanted men involved in the Vorizia massacre have surrendered to the authorities. The three brothers were in the Heraklion area, and their lawyer contacted the police, stating that her clients intend to surrender immediately. According to information from protothema.gr, police located a hotel where one of the three wanted men was reportedly hiding. The police also detained the hotel owners, a father and son. A few minutes after 6 p.m., the three brothers surrendered. They are now expected to be brought before the prosecutor to have the arrest warrants executed, after which criminal charges are expected to be filed against them.

A total of six people are believed to have been involved in the clash, which resulted in the deaths of a 39-year-old father of five and a 56-year-old nurse. The nurse had been attending her father’s memorial service and was killed by a stray bullet.
Among those involved are the 39-year-old, four brothers, and a cousin. Three of the brothers—aged 27, 29, and 19—are currently wanted. Two others—a brother and the family’s cousin—are receiving guarded medical treatment at PAGNI hospital.
