A Turkish C-130 military transport aircraft has crashed on the Georgia-Azerbaijan border, the Turkish Defense Ministry said. Search and rescue operations are underway in cooperation with the authorities of the two countries.

According to an official statement from the Turkish Defense Ministry, the aircraft had taken off from Azerbaijan bound for Turkey when it crashed in the mountainous area located on the border between the two countries.
At the same time, a video was released to Georgian media recording an aircraft crash, but it has not been confirmed whether it was a Turkish C-130.
The ministry’s statement reads, “A C-130 military transport aircraft, which took off from Azerbaijan bound for our country, crashed on the Georgia-Azerbaijan border. Search and rescue operations were launched in coordination with the authorities of Azerbaijan and Georgia.”
So far, no details have been released about the cause of the crash or the condition of the crew, while local authorities are actively involved in operations to locate the occupants.
