As the Milwaukee Bucks sink deeper and deeper in this year’s NBA season, Giannis Antetokounmpo decided to delete most of the photos related to the “Deer” from his Instagram and X accounts.

On Instagram, he chose to keep only 13 posts.

From the Bucks era, he has now kept on Instagram only the greatest moments of his career: the 2021 NBA championship and the 2024 NBA Cup.

Additionally, his social-media bio now simply reads “NBA Athlete,” with no mention of the Bucks.

All this happened after the painful loss early this morning to the Washington Wizards—currently last in the NBA standings—by a score of 129–126.

Bucks fans have begun to worry about Giannis’s future with the team, and no one knows the reason behind this move.

Since 2022, the Bucks have not advanced past the first round of the playoffs, while this year their start has been terrible: 13 losses and 9 wins, placing them 11th in the Eastern Conference standings.

Rumors of a trade have been circulating for two years now. The Knicks appear in most reports, while others had envisioned him joining Doncic and LeBron on the Lakers.

He also kept on Instagram the photo from winning the bronze medal with the Greek National Team at EuroBasket 2025.

He is certainly disappointed with the situation in Milwaukee, but no one knows what this social-media “clean-up” really means.

Giannis, who just a few days ago surpassed 21,000 career NBA points, is desperately alone on this Milwaukee team—one he led to its first championship since the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar era.
