A brutal crime involving the well-known director Rob Reiner and his wife, Michelle, occurred on Sunday afternoon in Los Angeles.
According to American media, Reiner and his wife were found stabbed to death in their home, with the murder weapon having been located.
According to People, the suspected perpetrator of the murder is the couple’s son, Nick, who was a drug user and had lived as a homeless person for years.

Nick Reiner was one of the couple’s sons. They also had another son, Jake, as well as a daughter, Romy, while the director had a daughter, Tracy, from a previous marriage.
The 78-year-old Reiner and the 68-year-old Michelle were married in 1989, while the director had previously been married to actress Penny Marshall from 1971 to 1981.
