“Out of the 27 demands put forward by the farmers, only seven cannot be resolved,” the Prime Minister notes in his Sunday message, also referring to interventions on housing, wage and pension increases from 2026, and the delivery of the first Belharra frigate.

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis delivered his customary weekly review of government work on Sunday morning through a public post, focusing on measures to support citizens and the government’s key policy initiatives.

As he stresses, the main objectives remain strengthening disposable income, further reducing taxation, and providing relief to borrowers with Swiss franc loans, within the framework of an overall policy to support society.

Regarding the farmers’ mobilizations, the Prime Minister notes that the government has already satisfied 16 of the 27 demands, underlining the need to continue dialogue with those who remain unmoved.

At the same time, he refers to progress on major infrastructure projects and development initiatives, such as the housing renovation and affordable housing support program, the delivery of the first Belharra frigate, and the digital upgrade of the “ERGANI” system, which aims to better protect workers and reduce bureaucracy for businesses.

Special reference is made to innovation and technology, including the creation of the “AI Lighthouse,” the operation of the Semiconductor Competence Center, and the adoption of the National Cybersecurity Strategy for the period 2026–2030.

Finally, mention is made of interventions that enhance public safety and everyday life, such as the installation of new road surveillance systems, the extension of night-time public transport services, and major cultural projects, with the expansion of the National Archaeological Museum cited as a key example.

According to Kyriakos Mitsotakis, the past week was particularly dense, with initiatives that, as he emphasizes, strengthen growth, security, social cohesion, and innovation.
