A Greek flight attendant, Maria Pappas, was on board the private Falcon 50 jet that crashed near Ankara. Eight people died in the accident, including the Libyan General Mohamed Ali Ahmed al-Haddad and three crew members.
The aircraft, bound for Tripoli, reported an electrical failure shortly after takeoff from Ankara on December 23, 2025. Communication was lost approximately 16 minutes after takeoff while the plane requested an emergency return.
The Tripoli government confirmed the death of all on board and attributed the cause to an electrical failure.
