Supermarkets today (24/12): Store hours on Christmas Eve

The market is still operating in festive mode, with stores, supermarkets, and shopping centers working extended hours to cover the increased needs of consumers ahead of Christmas

It is reminded that both on Christmas Day (December 25) and the second day of the holidays (December 26), supermarkets and retail stores will remain closed as these are official holidays.

What time do supermarkets close today, December 24?
The major supermarkets will operate with extended but specific hours, as follows:

  • AB Vassilopoulos: 08:00 – 21:00
  • Sklavenitis: 08:00 – 21:00
  • Market In: 08:00 – 21:00
  • LIDL: 07:45 – 21:00
  • Masoutis: 08:00 – 20:00
  • Kritikos: 08:00 – 21:00

Shopping centers and department stores

Shopping centers and department stores will operate with a modified festive schedule, which in most cases is:

  • Minimum: 10:00 – 19:00
  • Maximum: 10:00 – 21:00

Note that in many cases, shop owners will close their stores at six in the evening, so it is better to check the announcements of local commercial associations for the festive schedule.
