Increased cloud cover across most parts of the country, with local rainfall mainly in western and northern regions, the islands of the eastern Aegean, and the Dodecanese. Isolated thunderstorms will initially occur in the northwest and gradually spread to other western areas. From the afternoon, weather phenomena may become locally intense in the northern Ionian and Epirus, and from the evening in western Central Greece. Isolated thunderstorms are also possible on the islands of the eastern Aegean. From the afternoon onward, light snowfall is expected in the mountainous areas of western and northern mainland Greece.
Meteorological conditions favor the transport of African dust in western regions.
Winds will blow from southern directions at 4 to 6 Beaufort, locally reaching 7 in coastal and maritime areas, and up to 8 Beaufort in the Ionian Sea and temporarily in the Aegean.
Temperatures will see a slight drop in northern areas. Highs will reach 16–17°C in central and northern mainland regions, and 18–19°C in the rest of the country.

Tomorrow, on Epiphany, increased cloud cover with rain and scattered thunderstorms—possibly locally strong—is expected in the Ionian Sea, Epirus, western Central Greece, western Peloponnese, eastern Macedonia, Thrace, and the northeastern Aegean.
In the rest of the country, temporarily increased cloudiness with local rain is expected, mainly in northern regions and the eastern islands.

Winds in the west will blow from westerly directions at 5 to 6 Beaufort, and in the Ionian Sea at 7, locally up to 8 Beaufort. In eastern regions, winds will be southerly at 6 to 7 Beaufort, locally up to 8 in the Aegean, gradually shifting to westerly directions with the same intensity. Temperatures will drop, mainly in western and northern areas.
Friday:
Few clouds, temporarily increased in western, southern, and eastern island regions, with local rain and scattered thunderstorms in Crete, the eastern Aegean islands, and the Dodecanese, followed by gradual improvement. Elsewhere, generally fair weather with occasional cloud cover. Light snowfall is expected mainly in the mountainous areas of central and northern mainland Greece.
Winds will blow from west-northwest directions at 5 to 7 Beaufort, locally up to 8 Beaufort at sea, gradually weakening from the north. Temperatures will see a further slight decrease.
