Schools in the Region of Attica will operate normally tomorrow, Thursday (22 January), as weather conditions are improving.

Specifically, the Region stated in its announcement:

“The decision by the Regional Governor of Attica, Nikos Hardalias, to close schools in Attica—following a recommendation by the Risk Assessment Committee, Civil Protection, and the Hellenic National Meteorological Service—concerned only today (Wednesday, 21 January).

Therefore, given that there is no relevant need based on the current meteorological models, primary and secondary education schools, as well as evening schools in Attica, will operate normally tomorrow, Thursday, 22 January.”
