The American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association (AHEPA) announced with deep sadness the passing of Brother Nicholas Spillios, a distinguished leader who served as President of AHEPA Canada.
According to an official statement issued by AHEPA Headquarters, Brother Nicholas Spillios passed away on January 28, 2026.
Supreme President E. Chris Kaitson expressed his condolences, honoring Spillios as a revered figure within the organization and a tireless advocate for Hellenism and community service.
Brother Nicholas served a one-term presidency from 2005 to 2006, during which he oversaw numerous national initiatives that helped shape AHEPA Canada and set standards of excellence that continue to resonate today.
“He was an incredible leader who leaves behind a lasting legacy of service, dedication, and commitment to his community,” the statement noted.
