During the calls, the Prime Minister was briefed on the latest developments in Lebanon.
Kyriakos Mitsotakis recognized Israel’s right to self-defense, while emphasizing the need to avoid further escalation and to prevent the opening of a new front through extensive ground operations in Southern Lebanon.
In his communication with the Prime Minister of Israel, the unprovoked attack against the Republic of Cyprus and the defensive support provided by Greece were also discussed.
