Brad Pitt is currently in Chalkida for the filming of his new movie The Riders, sparking excitement among fans who gathered near the city’s railway station to catch a glimpse of the actor.
The famous actor, who had been in Hydra in recent days for the movie shoot, arrived in Chalkida with the film crew on Thursday, March 5. Fans speaking to the camera of Star Central Greece described their excitement at seeing the Hollywood star and emphasized that his presence brings special prestige and liveliness to the city.
“It’s very exciting. He’s my youthful crush, and I finally came to see him, even if only for five seconds. Our city will gain a different kind of glamour,” one woman said.
Another added: “These film shoots will highlight our city. It’s wonderful that a foreign actor came here. I managed to see him and he seemed very approachable.”
A man also commented: “Such a major production is great publicity for both the country and the city.”
A student studying in the Department of Digital Arts and Cinema said:
“I came to see up close how a film production is set up.”
Filming is taking place at the Chalkida railway station. According to the local website evima.gr, the actor arrived on the yacht “Persefoni.” The same sources say that filming is scheduled to continue until 17:00, when the actor is expected to leave the area.
