Kyriakos Mitsotakis met the pilots of the Greek F‑16 Fighting Falcon in Cyprus as part of his visit to the country today, where he met the President of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides, and the President of France, Emmanuel Macron.
After the joint statements with the two leaders, the Greek prime minister visited at noon the hangar of the Andreas Papandreou Air Base in Paphos, where the Greek F-16s that have been redeployed to Cyprus are stationed.
Kyriakos Mitsotakis, accompanied by the President of the Republic of Cyprus Nikos Christodoulides and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Giorgos Gerapetritis, met with the pilots and the personnel of the Hellenic Air Force and greeted them at the area where the Greek F-16 fighter jets operate.
