Macron heads to Souda, to be received by Dendias

Emmanuel Macron will travel via Souda to the aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle - Prior to the meeting with Kyriakos Mitsotakis and Nikos Christodoulides at the military base "Andreas Papandreou"

French President Emmanuel Macron, who is expected to visit the 115th Fighter Wing, will also travel to Souda.

Greece’s Minister of National Defence, Nikos Dendias, will be in Souda to welcome the French president.

From Souda, Emmanuel Macron will fly again by helicopter to the aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle, currently deployed in the Eastern Mediterranean.

As he has already announced, he will conduct an inspection on board before returning to Paris.

Macron’s visit follows his trilateral meeting with Kyriakos Mitsotakis and Nikos Christodoulides at the “Andreas Papandreou” Air Base in Paphos.
