A Frontex vessel sank around midday on Monday outside the port of Megisti in Kastellorizo, according to reports.

According to the same sources, the vessel struck a reef while maneuvering, which led to its sinking. There were six people on board, two of whom were injured, though their lives are not in danger.

The circumstances of the incident and the exact causes of the collision are currently under investigation.
