In the past few days, the necessary preliminary work was carried out, and since yesterday the machinery has started demolishing the tunnel.

Both today’s images and drone footage show the progress of the demolition work, and the scenes are impressive.

Traffic for vehicles on both the eastern and western sides is being diverted via bypass roads alongside the Ring Road.

The full demolition of the tunnel is expected to take several days.
