Taxi drivers’ strike across the country – Transport in Attica disrupted

No taxis from 6 a.m. – Gathering at SATA offices and march to Parliament

Newsroom March 23 10:30

Taxi drivers across Greece are holding a nationwide 24-hour strike today, Monday, March 23, coinciding with the vote on the Ministry of Transport’s bill.

Taxis operated normally over the weekend, as drivers temporarily suspended their strike for two days to serve the public. However, mobilizations intensify from today, against the backdrop of the bill by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport currently being debated and voted on in Parliament.

Taxi drivers have launched a new 24-hour strike starting at 6 a.m., while a gathering is scheduled at 10:30 a.m. at SATA offices, followed by a march to Parliament at 12 noon.
