Greece, with the longest coastline in the Mediterranean and hundreds of inhabited and uninhabited islands, continues to offer countless options for those seeking beaches away from mass tourism.
According to Condé Nast Traveller, beyond the well-known coasts that attract large numbers of visitors every summer, there are lesser-known beaches that combine seclusion, clean waters, and an authentic experience.

As noted in an announcement by the Municipality of Kimolos, among these is Prassa Beach, which, as the travel outlet reports, “stands out for its white sand and turquoise waters.” The island maintains a low level of development, offering a quieter experience compared to other Cycladic destinations, while its beaches remain less crowded.
This is not the first time this particular beach has gained global recognition. As early as 2025, it was considered one of the cleanest beaches by American media, including CNN, in a distinction that was widely publicized internationally after being based on more than 2.4 million reviews.
