Greek literature and publishing will have a strong presence at the International Book Fairs in Bologna, Paris, and Sarajevo, where the country will participate with the aim of promoting outreach, visibility, and the advancement of Greek creators, as well as networking contemporary Greek literature with the global publishing world.
Greece’s participation in the 63rd Bologna Children’s Book Fair (BCBF), the Festival du Livre de Paris, and the 37th Sarajevo International Book Fair is organized by the Ministry of Culture, through the Directorate of Letters, in collaboration with the Hellenic Foundation for Books and Culture and with the support of various Greek communities, cultural centers, embassies, universities, and institutions.
The cultural and professional programs have been designed around promoting contemporary Greek creativity, showcasing State Literary Awards granted by the Ministry of Culture in recent years, and encouraging dialogue on issues of global concern. These programs include book presentations, roundtable discussions, interactive workshops, and more, featuring award-winning Greek authors and intellectuals who contribute to promoting Greek publishing and thought internationally.
