Enraged over claims that doctors at the hospital in Kefalonia were not in place when 19-year-old Myrto was hospitalized, Health Minister Adonis Georgiades appeared

He even announced that he would be filing a complaint against a TikTok user who claimed that the doctors and the health minister “murdered” the unfortunate 19-year-old.

“I vehemently deny the false accusations against the doctors of Kefalonia that they were not on duty when 19-year-old Myrto arrived there. I don’t accept the insults, accusations, and threats against the doctors. They were absolutely in place, the girl was immediately resuscitated, a doctor and anaesthetist were found, and protocol was followed. Unfortunately, when she arrived at the hospital, the girl was almost dead. The doctors were on duty and offered as much as medical science could offer,” Georgiades told SKAI.

“Don’t insult the NHS for political purposes. The NHS belongs to all the people and not to Georgiades, Mitsotakis, or ND. We cannot target the NHS for communication and political purposes,” the Health Minister added.

He also said, “I am filing a lawsuit on a TikTok account saying that the doctors and I killed the girl’. This is not tolerated in Greece. I am a politician; the doctors owe nothing to this.”
