According to the results of the Metron Analysis survey presented on Mega’s main news bulletin, New Democracy returns to January levels in vote estimation, recording losses of 2.5 percentage points, reportedly linked to the OPEKEPE issue and Lazaridis.

The governing party stands at 28.6% (down from 31.1%) in vote estimation, maintaining a lead of 13.6 points over PASOK, which increased slightly by 1.4 points.

The government, as well as the Prime Minister, record a drop of around 3 points in public evaluation. However, Kyriakos Mitsotakis maintains a very strong lead in suitability for Prime Minister, with 26%, compared to just 7% for Alexis Tsipras and 6% for Nikos Androulakis, who is tied with Zoi Konstantopoulou and Kyriakos Velopoulos.

It is noted that Metron Analysis measures spontaneous responses in the question of suitability for Prime Minister. Maria Karystianou is recorded at 4%, with a potential vote intention of 10%, marking a decline of 6 points compared to January.

Both PASOK and its leader improved by around three points in public evaluation. Despite Nikos Androulakis increasing his popularity from 23% to 26%, he remains in sixth place—behind Zoi Konstantopoulou (still first despite losing 9 points since January), Dimitris Koutsoumbas, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, Sokratis Famellos, and Gavriil Sakellaridis.

The poll projects an eight-party Parliament, while also showing a shift in public preference towards coalition governments (53%) compared to single-party majority rule (44%). The share of undecided voters rises to 14.9% from 13% in March, potentially indicating waiting expectations regarding parties associated with Tsipras and Karystianou.

Interestingly, Alexis Tsipras shows an increase of two points, reaching 11% in potential vote intention (“I would very likely vote for him”), but his spontaneous mentions in the Prime Minister suitability question are lower by four points. The gap reaches six points for Maria Karystianou.

The European Public Prosecutor’s Office enjoys very high public approval, with 78% saying its participation benefits the country. Meanwhile, the most important issue remains inflation and the economy.
