The television broadcast of Survivor has been suspended due to a serious accident involving a contestant, according to an announcement by SKAI TV.
On Monday, May 11, shortly before the scheduled airing of the episode, the station released an official statement announcing that a participant in the reality show suffered a serious accident in Dominican Republic.
SKAI expressed its support and solidarity with the contestant and his family. At the same time, it clarified that although the production of the game is carried out exclusively under the responsibility of Acun Medya, the station is closely monitoring the player’s health condition and intends to contribute in every possible way to his medical care and rehabilitation process.
Finally, it was noted that the broadcast of the program is being suspended until the causes of the incident are fully investigated.
As stated in the station’s announcement:
“SKAI was informed of the serious accident involving a ‘Survivor’ contestant in the Dominican Republic and expresses its sorrow and unwavering support to him and his family. Despite the fact that the production of ‘Survivor’ is carried out exclusively under the control and responsibility of Acun Medya, SKAI is closely monitoring the participant’s health condition and will contribute in every possible way to his treatment, as well as to any hospitalization and rehabilitation care required. Until the causes of the incident are fully investigated, the television broadcast of the specific program is suspended.”
