The admission results for Model Schools, Experimental Schools, Public Onassis Schools and Ecclesiastical Schools will be announced no later than tomorrow, May 13, at midday.

Notification of the results will be made exclusively through the application submission platform, following a prior email notification.

The Examination Committee has completed the process and is currently carrying out final cross-checks of the grades.

The examinations for the Model, Experimental and Onassis Schools took place in late April 2026.

A total of 27,990 applications were submitted for admission to these schools for the 2026–2027 school year.

According to exclusive information from protothema.gr, the admission results for the Model, Experimental, Public Onassis and Ecclesiastical Schools are expected to be announced by midday tomorrow (13/5) at the latest.

“Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the results will be announced by Wednesday noon, although there is always a small reservation,” reliable sources state. “The Examination Committee has completed the process, and at this moment some final checks on the grades are being carried out,” they add.

This year’s “innovation”

This year, the official and valid notification of the results will be made exclusively through the platform where parents submitted their applications.

“An email will be sent first, but parents will need to log into the system to see the final result, meaning which school their child has been admitted to, as well as the scores,” officials from the Committee explain.

It is noted that last year the first notification was sent via SMS to mobile phones, something that will not apply this year, as the notification process will take place only through the platform.

Results on schedule

It is recalled that the public lottery for admission to Experimental Schools took place on Friday, April 24, 2026, while the skills tests for admission to Model Schools and Model Ecclesiastical Schools were held on Saturday, April 25, 2026. The corresponding process for admission to Public Onassis Schools took place on Sunday, April 26, 2026.

According to the timeline, the results were expected within fifteen days, which now appears to be the case.

How many students are competing for a place

For admission to Model, Experimental, Public Onassis and Model Ecclesiastical Schools for the 2026–2027 school year, the following applications were submitted through the electronic platform:

• 13,987 applications for 1,809 places in Model Schools across the country.
• 12,644 applications for 3,266 places in Experimental Schools across the country.
• 3,945 applications for 1,786 places in Public Onassis Schools.
• 414 applications for 513 places in Model Ecclesiastical Schools across the country.
