The Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, made his regular Sunday post, in which he addressed all current affairs, while also announcing the extension of the “My Home II” program until the end of August.
In another part of his statement regarding the spatial planning bill for tourism, which is already under consultation, he emphasized, among other things, that “the goal is to bring order and clear rules to tourism development, so that the environment, local communities, and the character of each area are protected, without stopping the growth of a sector that is a key pillar of our economy.”
At the same time, speaking about the National Health System (ESY), he said that 28 renovated emergency departments and 55 Health Centers have already been delivered so far, and stressed that “ESY doctors saw in their pay slips the difference from the separate taxation of on-call shifts voted by our government, with the average annual tax relief reaching approximately 7,000 euros.”
He also said that “KYSEA approved the upgrade of the MEKO frigates and the acquisition of two Italian Bergamini (FREMM) frigates, which will significantly strengthen the capabilities of the Navy in the coming years. At the same time, we are proceeding with the purchase of new cryptographic devices to enhance the confidentiality of communications of the Armed Forces.”
Regarding tonight’s EuroLeague final, the Prime Minister sent his message to Olympiacos: “It is a great success for Greece that, after so many years, it is once again hosting this major event, with Olympiacos taking part in the final. So, best of luck to the red-and-whites.”
