Optimistic that New Democracy will reach 40% in the elections, Adonis Georgiadis appears in a wide-ranging interview with protothema.gr and the show “Diavhoristiki Grammi” with Angelos Moschovas.
He says it is surprising that Alexis Tsipras is returning to politics and that he likes it. “He has a certain glow, he is not nothing,” he says. In contrast, he argues that Nikos Androulakis is not suited for politics: “He should deal with football, he should play PROPO.” Regarding Zoe Konstantopoulou, he claims: “The girl has a problem.”
When you have Adonis Georgiadis in front of you, you try to think of what he hasn’t said yet to ask him. You feel almost unable to find anything—he has spoken about almost everything. And yet, when the conversation starts, it feels like he is saying everything for the first time. Some things he indeed reveals in protothema.
“We will talk both politics and personal matters,” I tell him before we begin. “Ask whatever you want,” he replies—and he means it. He also reveals how and when he decided to get a hair transplant, what happened with the AI-generated photo that circulated showing him supposedly embracing a woman, as well as his childhood dreams and the moment that changed him.
