Police have arrested two 45-year-olds for stealing tools from the exhibition center of Athens International Airport, “Eleftherios Venizelos,” while a third person is also included in the case file.

According to the police, the two suspects entered the airport exhibition center on Tuesday afternoon (27/5) and stole a large number of tools from an exhibition stand under construction, with a total value exceeding €6,500.

Following a complaint about the incident, the Airport Security Department of the Athens Airport Policing Division conducted a preliminary investigation, during which the perpetrators were identified.

The two men were located on Wednesday night (28/5) near the exhibition center and were detained by police.

The arrested individuals were taken to the competent prosecutor.
