With the examination of orientation subjects, the Panhellenic Examinations for General Lyceum candidates continued today, Wednesday, June 3, 2026.
More specifically, GEL candidates were examined in Ancient Greek (Humanities Orientation Group), Mathematics (Sciences & Economics/IT Orientation Groups), and Biology (Health Sciences Orientation Group).
More specifically, Humanities students were tested in Ancient Greek, Sciences and Economics/IT candidates in Mathematics, while Health Sciences students were examined in Biology.
The team of experienced teachers from the tutoring centers “Diakrotima” will shortly provide initial detailed assessments as well as answers to the questions.
It is noted that experimental grading of today’s exam papers will begin tomorrow, Thursday 4/6, at grading centers, while official grading will begin on Friday, 5/6, after 12:00 noon.
No clarifications requested
So far, it is not known that any clarification was needed from examination centers to the Central Examination Committee.
The exams were conducted smoothly, and the topics were sent as originally scheduled at 8:30 in the morning.
Continuation of exams in middle and high schools
Since yesterday, Tuesday June 2, promotion and graduation exams have begun in middle schools across the country and, according to the Ministry of Education’s schedule, will be completed on June 15, 2026.
In addition, promotion exams for 10th and 11th grade continue until June 12, 2026.
The educational community is now in full examination mode, with thousands of students across Greece participating either in the Panhellenic Exams or in school-based examinations, which will determine the completion of the current school year.
