In the presence of Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, PASOK-KINAL leader Nikos Androulakis, and other political figures, the funeral service for Vagia Nestora is being held today at 12 noon at the Metropolitan Church of Saint Nicholas in Kozani.
Her daughter, New Democracy politician Afroditi Nestora, also attended the funeral to bid her final farewell to her mother.

Nestora was seriously injured in the arson attack at their home and was discharged from Papanikolaou Hospital at her own request in order to attend the ceremony.

So far, there has been no official announcement of arrests. Authorities continue to assess every new piece of evidence that emerges.
