At least one person was killed and several others injured in an Israeli drone strike on the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, medical sources said.

The drone reportedly struck a tent sheltering displaced residents who had sought refuge there.

According to the same sources, the overall death toll in Gaza since the war began nearly three years ago has surpassed 73,300 Palestinians.

Of these, more than 1,180 have been killed since the ceasefire between Hamas and Israel took effect in October.
