A trans police officer accused of raping a 14-year-old girl and possessing a large number of child pornography files appeared before a German court on Tuesday.
The defendant appeared on Tuesday before the Traunstein Regional Court, where prosecutors said files containing graphic scenes of violence against children as young as three had been found on the former police officer’s computer.
According to the indictment, videos were also found on the 55-year-old police officer’s computer showing his with several sexual partners, as well as with a dog.
In addition to charges of rape, child abuse, bodily harm, distribution of pornographic material and possession of child pornography, prosecutors have also charged the defendant with producing material depicting bestiality.
The 55-year-old is accused of raping a friend’s daughter in August 2025, in the toilet of a restaurant. According to the indictment, the incident is described as follows: “The victim was unable to react and stared at the defendant in shock. The defendant left the toilet, and the victim, trembling all over and with her heart pounding, locked herself in the toilet.”
According to the Daily Mail, the prosecution and defence have agreed to a plea-bargaining procedure, meaning that, if convicted, the defendant could face a prison sentence of between three and three and a half years. However, for the agreement to take effect, the 55-year-old, who is currently being held in the men’s section of Munich prison, must fully confess to the acts of which he is accused.
The cases of rape, sexual abuse and murder of children by members of the LGBTQ+ community are increasing worldwide, and given the community’s relatively small size compared with the general population, these cases tend to take on the characteristics of a criminal epidemic.
