Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis visited the headquarters of Nvidia and Sequoia Capital in California today, where he held meetings with senior company executives and researchers in the technology sector.

At the meeting at Nvidia, hosted by John Josephakis, Global VP for Business Development, and senior company executives, the Prime Minister had the opportunity to discuss the significant investments in digital and computing infrastructure being made in Greece, as well as how Nvidia leverages its technology and ecosystem to support start-ups, governments and leading technology companies in developing and adopting artificial intelligence applications.

The Prime Minister also toured Nvidia’s research centre, where some of the world’s most advanced semiconductors and computing systems are designed. Nvidia is currently one of the world’s largest technology companies and is at the heart of the global development of artificial intelligence, as its processors and computing platforms constitute key infrastructure for training and operating the most advanced AI models.

At the meeting at Sequoia Capital, hosted by Konstantine Buhler and Doug Leone, Partners at Sequoia Capital, top investors, researchers from major technology companies and research laboratories, as well as founders and executives of companies at the forefront of artificial intelligence applications in fields such as medicine, education, automation and robotics, took part.
