Hardouvelis expressed his optimism for the negotiations with Troika

The unionists of ESEE discussed tax and levies reduction

Today the Confederation of Greek Commerce and Entrepreneurship (ESEE) made a introductory meeting with the Minister of Finance Mr. Gikas Hardouvelis in order to discuss all matters.

I t was pointed out that the market situation requires of an immediate economic “breath.” Further, they discussed the issues concerning the commercial world as well as the proposals of smaller entrepreneurship.

Mr. Hardouvelis assured the ESEE that the efforts of the government negotiating with the troika continue and expressed his optimism for the successful outcome of an evaluation to be launched in early September in Paris and that will be completed in late October.
At the same time, he stressed that the current situation is better than it was two years ago, regarding the recovery of the economy. He also noted that the Ministry of Finance has given priority to the corrections for ENFIA and has already started planning tax cuts in an effort to reverse the negative climate created.
